Maiden Meditation (copyright August 1986 Kerri-Ellen Kelly)

Maiden Meditation

A maiden wanders seeking answers,
Seeking answers from the air
As she walks she tries to tell her;
Tell herself she doesn't care.
For her search is ever going--
Ever going to nowhere.
So her questions stay without her--
Without her answers showing there.

As the maiden ever wanders,
Ever wanders o'er the land,
Seeking through the changing vistas,
Changing vistas on each hand.
Shall she always seek her visions,
Seek her visions oh so grand?
Aren't we all just seeking answers?
Seeking answers in the sand.
